Red Hot Riding Hood is a Tex Avery short done for MGM studios and was released on May 8, 1943. It was voted number 7 of the 50 Greatest Cartoons which is a 1994 book that ranks fifty highly regarded animated short by taking votes from 1,000 professionals working in the animation industry.

The art direction were a bit on the American side as Ken and Ryu clearly looks bulkier and the gameplay system has been changed to cater easier for new players.
