Matrix Couple Dinner Fight On Japanese TV Show

Innovative and well executed sketch on the Japanese show Kasou Taishou (similar to matrix ping pong but this one is better in my opinion) with matrix effects and background music ‘Pretty Lady’ pretty much spices up the story. A well deserved full marks. |

It’s cute, worth a watch, but I wouldn’t call these effects “Matrix-style”. In “The Matrix”, people actually had joints that could only bend one way, and their movements weren’t all “floppy” and “senseless”. This was cute in its own way, but if it was -intended- to resemble “The Matrix” fight scenes, it’s failed. If it wasn’t intended for that purpose, then it’s pretty cool as a stand-alone piece - it’s cute and worth a watch, but any attempt to connect it to “The Matrix” is unwarranted.
