Pelican Swallows Pigeon Whole

A pelican in St James Park, London was caught on camera eating a pigeon. It swallows it whole and it is unheard of pelicans eating birds since its diet mainly consist of fish. |

Hi, my name is Dimitri Gregorieff with the savethepelican.org I have seen a starving Pelican in Florida trying to eat a dead rat on the road. This Pelican was starving. I picked him up and brought him to a hospital where he got better. So, yes these birds will eat a diet other than fish on some occasions
