That is filmed in Australia (possibly Sydney) and I think it’s near the harbour.
I know because of what the roads look like, the cars drive on the left, what the police wear and some of the buildings are Sydney buildings.
Quite moving, very nicely made. I laugh that it was banned!!

Hi, I’m from Italy. Today I’ve seen the video of FREE HUGS campaign and I’ve foud it FANTASTIC. It makes me cry. Juann Man is a special person. I’d like to hug him and all the world too.

I’m from Sydney - it didn’t get banned, it is a rumour. It’s a shame such an uplifting story needs to be ruined… not sure where the rumour started. I can guarantee you that people in Sydney are just as inspired about it as everywhere else. There’s talk about a free hug day on Monday in Pitt St Mall (where it was filmed)!! Maybe a new tradition will be born…

Well they wanted him to get liability insurance to continue practicing giving free hugs. The word “ban” may not have been used.. but that’s close enough imo.
