Somethings you can tell are fake, this is one of them. First of all he made it pop out of nothing at 0:37. Also, he was always rubbing his thumb so that had something to do with it.
Hypothesis:
It’s a withtractable cirgerett with magnents in the middle.

that’s the stupidest thing i’ve ever heard, i can assure you the ciggarette was temparaly stored in the crotch of his thumb and then ended it with a vanish using a thumb tip, i know there are going to be some magicians pissed at me sorry, i just hate people who think they know.

I like when people think they know, they make it far more elaborate than it really is..
The REAL magic is done in the audiences minds, its what they THINK they saw not actually what happened
